Chelsea Ingram is a Queensland-born, Brooklyn-based writer and director.
Her work, deeply influenced by her experiences as a lesbian woman, focuses on family and childhood. She explores themes that have impacted her personally, such as substance abuse, LGBTQ+ issues, and domestic violence.
Her play Keep Calling debuted at the Sydney Fringe Festival with a sold out production and was awarded The Sydney Morning Herald’s Critic’s Pick.
Chelsea frequently collaborates with other female and queer creators and her storytelling aims to amplify LGBTQ+ and female voices and experiences in the media.
